Unique Korean quintet JAMBINAI have dropped their latest single, ‘From The Place Been Erased’. Their folk-infused post-rock is as intense as it is addictive, and this new track is the perfect example of that sound. The band invited K-Pop legend swja to provide vocals for the track, and it might just have been a stroke of genius. She softly emotes above complex, folk-adjacent moments, before unleashing a soaring, almost operatic wail above the aggressive, distorted moments of pure metal. On the background of their upcoming EP, the band say: “I personally wanted to release a new album and tour to exhaust the energy of ONDA and find new inspiration, but it didn’t work out that way. We didn’t find enough energy to make a full album yet, so for now we are releasing four songs.” The four-track journey, Apparition, drops on November 11th, 2022. -Dan Peeke.
